Remove your details from UK people-search and data broker sites
Sites like 192.com and ukphonebook.com publish names and addresses, often from the open electoral register and phone directories. Under UK GDPR you can ask a company to delete your data (Article 17, the right to erasure) and to stop using it (Article 21, the right to object). Our pack gives you a letter quoting both, written from your answers, plus a checklist of the official removal pages.
What's in the pack
- A UK GDPR erasure and objection letter with your details, ready for you to send to any site or data company yourself.
- A checklist of removal pages for 192.com, ukphonebook.com, Findmypast and the phone book, with how each one works.
- Plain steps to opt out of the open electoral register through your council, and to register free with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS).
Start with the open register
Many sites copy the open electoral register. Opting out stops new copies of your details going out, and you can still vote. How to opt out on GOV.UK.
Cut cold calls for free
Register your landline and mobile with the Telephone Preference Service. It's free, so never pay anyone to do it for you.

Common questions
Do you remove my details for me?
No. You send the letter and fill in each site's form yourself, because most sites only accept requests from you. We never act for you.
Do I need to send ID?
Our letter doesn't include any ID. A company can only ask for more information if it has reasonable doubts about who you are.
How long do they have to reply?
Normally one month from receiving your request, under UK GDPR.
Will it stop all spam calls?
No service can promise that. TPS registration and removing your number from directories should cut down unwanted sales calls.
